COME SEE US ON SATURDAY, MARCH 6!
Beat the winter doldrums and get an early jump on plans for your kids' summer by coming to Camp Fair, Chestnut Hill Academy’s annual event that brings together close to 100 camps and summer programs for every interest and age from around the area, region and country.
This year’s event will be held on Saturday, March 6, from 11 am to 2 pm in CHA’s Woodward/Kingsley gymnasium complex located near the intersection of Willow Grove Avenue and Cherokee Street in the Chestnut Hill neighborhood of Philadelphia. Click here for directions. Admission and parking are free.
Variety is the theme for this year’s fair with representation from a wide range of camp types (local day, overnight, travel and adventure) geared for kids of all ages. The camps offer programs in sports, nature, science, international travel and adventure, academics, language immersion, fine and performing arts and more. There will also be a number day and residential “teen-only” programs including teen-oriented sports training, leadership skills development, arts, technology, community service, travel and college prep programs.
Parents are encouraged to bring both teens, tweens and younger children to watch camp videos, meet one-on-one with camp directors, ask questions and gather additional information about the many options for summer in a relaxed and fun atmosphere.
Between stops at the camp tables, families can enjoy the terrific activities available throughout the day: watch “magic” science happening right before your eyes (and taste the delicious results!), visit with the animals from the Academy of Natural Sciences or take a break at our café offering delicious snacks and lunch.
