If you have any questions about the admissions process or would like to request information by telephone, please feel free to call the Admissions Office at 215-247-4700, ext. 1133. All appointments and visits are arranged through the Admissions Office Assistant. The steps that need to be completed for application to all Lower School grades are:

  • Visit CHA to tour and talk with the Director of Lower School Admissions. (An Open House visit can substitute for this initial meeting.)

  • Complete the application form and return it to the Admissions Office with a completed Confidential Parent Questionnaire and your non-refundable fee of $60 (grades PK-1) or $50 (grades 2-5). Applicants for all grades in Lower School need to complete the Confidential Parent Questionnaire.

  • Forward the Recommendation Forms for your grade level to the two educators whom you have listed on the application. It often expedites the process to give the teachers stamped envelopes addressed to CHA.

    Ideally, all steps should be completed and material received before December 19, 2008. Initial decisions are mailed on Friday, January 30, 2009, to those whose application is complete. Subsequent decisions are made on a rolling, space-available basis.
